Before you buy the expansion here's what you need to know about the gameplay, create a sim items, and build buy catalog. I am color blind moderately/severely in all spectrums (red/green, blue/green etc) so I can only imagine what the rest of you (OCD color matchers) have to deal with in this game. The Sims 4: Snowy Escape combines Japanese-inspired architecture, fashion, and customs before adding winter sports, hiking, and the return of a classic Sims 2 death type. Which sometimes is a real pet peeve in the sims when you want two light brown objects that are slightly off color. Nothing to out there and everything can blend and be in harmony. Nothing is really as it seems from watching the trailer. People might disagree but I think for this theme and style the colors are appropriate and I like that they are consistent. Snowy Escape has more activities and its fairly decent expansion by Sims 4 standards but also if youre looking for a lot in the pack then its probably going to disappoint. I do like the other furniture and I actually like how they cut down on the swatches and made them all match. I mean its tea we are talking about here. More so than any other item that could have been included. Gear up for thrilling snow sports, relax in natural hot springs, and design your Japanese-inspired home in The Sims 4. This, how can you have an Asian inspired pack and not include a culturally appropriate tea set. It would have made sense in a world about Japan. I am really disappointed that there is no working tea set. I like all the build buy items and I like the wood textures on them.
